Wei Wang,PhD, PE - CEO and Founder

Dr. Wei Wang is the president and founder of UrbanTech. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in 5 states with over 30 years of experience in building and bridge construction engineering. He graduated from Tongji University in Shanghai in 1984 and completed his doctoral studies at NJIT. He has served on the board of visitors and Industry Advisory Board at NJIT in 1994. He is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and the American Institute of Steel Construction.

In 1999, Dr. Wang founded UrbanTech and began his dreams to establish an innovative engineering company in a simple basement in Edison, New Jersey. Dr. Wang's breakthrough projects inclue Marine Parkway and Third Avenue Bridges which were selected as Prize Bridges by the AISC. UrbanTech has since established itself as a leading force in Accelerated Bridge Construction (ABC).
