Assistant Structural Engineer 

Urbantech is seeking for motivated structural engineers for our headquarters office in New York City to participate in the design of transportation and building projects. The job responsibilities include performing structural analysis and design, prepare design drawings and specifications under the supervision of professional engineers. Responsibilities also include reviewing shop drawings, performing field inspections and other construction service related work as directly by the professional engineer.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor or equivalent in Civil/Structural/Architecture Engineering;

• Ability to apply engineering fundamentals in engineering design, basic knowledge of structural analysis and be familiar with 3D Finite Element modeling technique.

• Proficient in structural software RAM, LARSA & AutoCAD. Knowledge of standard building codes and specifications (AISC, ACI and IBC) is required.

• Experience with Revit is strongly preferred.
